Exhibition of Photography of Sao Paulo


The busiest district of Sao Paulo will be the permanent headquarters of the Exhibition of Photography of Sao Paulo. The event will open on January 25, for the 457th anniversary of the city. Created by the journalist and photographer Fernando Costa Netto, the 2nd Exhibition is curated by Bob Wolfenson and Armando Prado and counts with the participation of thirty-one photographers from different generations who live or have lived in Sao Paulo.

More than three hundred images have been selected to reveal the look of each author over the life of the city. The photos will be displayed in shops, restaurants, bars, cultural venues, offices, walls and galleries. The Exhibition will also be a space for discussion about the works and the photography in Brazil. All works exhibited will be available in a digital catalog and part of the collection will be on sale. The opening party of the 2nd Exhibition of Photography will take place on January 25th, from 6 pm in front of the Bar Posto 6, rua Aspicuelta, corner with rua Mourato Coelho.
