Erykah Badu will sing in São Paulo in August

Erykah Badu will be singing in São Paulo, at the Credicar Hall, in August 29th. The singer is on tour for her new album New Amerykah Part Two (Return of the Ankh), which is continuation of the album Amerykah Part One (4th World War) where she brings up a discussion about the individual roles that people play in a society where there is political, social and racial prejudice and preconceptions.

The American singer started her carrier when she was only four years old acting, along with her mother. When she was seven she wrote her first song. Erykah Bady graduated in arts and theater. After that, while dedicating to music and singing carrier, she gave dancing and acting classes. The singer has strong influences from the 60´s and 70´s Hip Hop and R&B music. She is famous by her creative and exotic performances and looks. But she has really kept up with her carrier when considered one of the artists that were responsible for the reinvention of soul music. Listen out and enjoy songs like “Window Seat” and “Next Lifetime”( Album "No Sweat Volume 2").
