Exhibition: Design Brazil - 101 Years of History

This presentation brings an overview of the Brazilian design from the twentieth century to current days. After the colonial period and after suffering the influence of European movements, the Brazilian furniture got identity and consolidated itself internationaly. Since then, 101 years have passed and, in recognition of more than a century of design, the Museu da Casa Brasileira (Brazilian House Museum) hosts the exhibition entitled Design Brazil - 101 Years of History.

The rooms are divided as a timeline and symbols represent part of each generation, such as, the bowl chair of Lina Bo Bardi from 50's and the Red Chair of the Campana brothers from 90's. It's a worth visit!
