Video about Sao Paulo in 1943!

This video was made by the Office of the Inter-American Affair for its program in the America Republics. It is interesting to compare with the Sao Paulo we know and how things have changed. Also, as can be heard in the video, at that time Rio de Janeiro was the first biggest city of Brazil. Sao Paulo at that time just had 1,3 million inhabitants! Have a look, it's an historical document!

  1. Amazing how things have changed. Sao Paulo is a vibrant city with a lot of activities, fairs, concerts, congresses and workshops. You can also see major Broadway musicals there for a fraction of the price. I looooooooooove Sao Paulo. I can't wait to go back some day.
