Bar do Camarão (Prawn's Bar) is an great value-for-money Restaurant. Check it out!

The Bar do Camarão (Prawn's Bar) has its specialty easily target by the name. Straight to the point: the highlight is the 'Festival do Camarão' (Prawn's Festival) which delivers as much prawn/seafood (coming 3 times a week by airplane from the Brazilian Northeast Territory) as you can eat for a unique price: R$ 25,99 from Tuesday to Sunday starting at 6pm.

Check out what is available on the Festival:
  • Prawn and Garlic Oil
  • Breaded Prawn
  • Steamed Prawn
  • Prawn Dumpling
  • Pastel* of Prawn
  • Seafood with Vinaigrette
  • Mashed Fish
  • Grilled Fish with Capers and Champignon
  • Cação (Brazilian Fish) and Tartar Sauce
  • Manjubinha (other Brazilian Fish)
  • Rice
Other great tip is the happy hour. From 6pm till 8h30pm, Caipirinhas, Bottle of Beer and some of the 'petiscos' (snacks) are available for a special price. Once a month, they organize the Festival da Paella (Paella's Festival) which costs R$ 35 per person. Check it out and try anyone of these delicious dishes. You won't regret!

(*) Prawn pastries, these look like Chinese food (I think they are of Chinese origin). The outside is like a wonton or those crunchy crackers you get with Chinese delivery in the US, and the inside is ground prawn.
