From now on, it's forbidden to smoke inside public areas

The pubs are planning to take some actions against willful clients that don't want to collaborate with the new law starting at midnight of August 7th. Some pubs will deliver different "Comandas" (paper used to write down what you drink) for smoking clients. From now on, it's not possible to smoke under a roof. It's necessary to go outside to smoke.

Some pubs doesn't provide this area, so it will be necessary to go out on the street. There are pubs planning to stamp the client's hand and place more Security guys at the door, trying to avoid the clever ones...

Other pubs are planning to rummage clients at the entrance to get their cigarettes, put inside a bag and give it back before they leave. I'm not sure it'll work, but the truth is: the pubs are affraid about the Government surveillance. Everyone can report a smoker and if it happens, the pub get a fine.

Every pub will have it's own attitude. If you are a smoker, it's better to find the best place to be. Some pubs have already started to rebuild some areas.

Let me know your experiences about that.
