Ex-bassist for Miles Davis is coming to Brazil in May

The Bass player Dave Holland, who played on classic albums like Miles Davis's "In the Silent Way" (1969) and Bitches Brew (1970), is coming to Brazil in May. He plays on March 21st at Citibank Hall, São Paulo, as one of the attractions of "Bridgestone Music Festival".

Holland, also played with Herbie Hancock and jazz musicians as Gary Burton and JackDeJohnette. The English bass guitarist is also known by his solo career. Among his most celebrated albums are: "Music From Two Basses", "Conference of the Birds" and "The Razor's Edge", released respectively in 1971, 1972 and 1987. His brand new jazz album studio is entitled "Pass it On", 2008.

The 2010 will be the third one of "Bridgestone Music Festival". Last year, the main attraction was Jimmy Cobb, drummer for Miles Davis.
